This collection provided by John Bosson

John spent the bulk of his National Service attached to 'B' Squadron as their Pay Clerk and especially enjoyed the stay in Berlin. Although it is now forty one years since these photographs were taken he can still recall a lot of the faces but has difficulty putting names to them.

His National Service was from January 1959 joining the 14/20th at Hohne in early May and then moving to join 'B' Squadron in Berlin in late May staying there until the Regiment reformed in Hohne in November 1960 before being demobbed in January 1961.

If you recall any of these, drop John or Noah's ARC a line - let's hear from you.

Enjoy these photographs.

And these
I have found some more old photos relating to 'B' Squadrons time in Berlin in tha late 50's early 60's. These are taken from the Berlin Bulletin Magazine of the time and you will see they not only cover the firing of a salute for the birth of Prince Andrew but also the parade in October 1960 prior to the Squadron leaving Berlin for Hohne. Both photographs show the Olympic Stadium in the background. Also included is a photo of the Regimental Band under the leadership of Mr. Mott taken with the Brandenburg Gate as a background.
