It is always a sad affair having to say goodbye, but on this occasion it is more than doubly so. He was a great soldier, hussar, husband father and man, what more can one say. Not only sincere condolences to Denny and family but to all Hawks who have lost a magnificent representative.

I am totally gutted I have known Drac for over 40 years and my first meeting with him was when I was a Junior Leader at Bovington in the 70's. A Mr fix it for the regiment who had the knowledge and organisation to do any task set him. I can remember in Munster when I went into his office, he was having a conversation with me, talking to the Brigadier on the telephone, talking to Quassie in the next room on the intercom to somebody else and shouting instructions in German to the civvy contractors all at the same time. I drove his Ferret on an exercise in Germany and for 3 days I got about 15 mins sleep his energy was remarkable non stop. An amazing guy who will be sorely missed. Geraldine and I send our condolences to Denny, Lee and Natalie. RIP Drac
