Condolences to family and friends. Never served directly under his command (different squadron), but always thought him to be a decent man. I know Pat Greenwood was quite friendly with his wife, especially when the de Beaujeus' were hosting HRH Princess Anne on one of her visits to Paderborn.

RIP Colonel.
Regards

I recall Colonel Dan when he was a Second Lieutenant; even then he was exceptional. A true Gentleman.

Rest in Peace Sir.

Peter
