Steve Beavers
Some sad news in today from Mitch Metcalfe.
For ages we've been trying to trace Steve Beavers, without success, only to learn that he died on 7th September 2013. His widow Irene and daughter carrieann are doing well.
Belated, but rest in peace, Steve.

Re: Steve Beavers
Like many others I was one of those hoping to renew acquaintances with Steve. Obviously, it will never happen.
Steve, always the "fly boy", but a character, once met never forgotten. We have some good memories of B Sqn SHQ Troop, as Bob and Mitch will testify. The time that the SSM was put to sleep but one.
R.I.P. Steve. Commiserations to Steve's wife and family.
Many good memories.

Re: Steve Beavers
I did my B3/1 Gunnery courses on Scorpion with Steve, always great to work with. I spent a Christmas with him and Irene and very enjoyable it was too. He was a good friend and a good bloke as well. I would really have liked to see him again, RIP Steve. Condolences to all his family .

Re: Steve Beavers
Very sad news, have fond memories of Steve both in the regiment and in civvy street, unfortunately the last time I saw him was in Genevieves night club in Longsight in 1977. His heart was always in the right place.
Condolences to his family.
