Bernard Hesketh

I've received the following message:
Dear Sir,

I would like to record the the sad passing of an Old Hussar.

Bernard Patrick Hesketh who served as an NCO in the 14/20th Hussars in 1950s.

He was a proud gentleman to the end who's service and regiment he saw as paramount, and every remembrance Sunday he wore the regimental crest with pride on his blazer.

To be recorded as a gentleman to the end.

Please ensure he is remembered with his regiment of which he was internally proud.

In the memorial of my Grandfather Bernard Hesketh. 14th/20th Hussars.

Thank you.

Kind regard

J Alexander
Royal Marines (Rtd)
We offer our condolences to this proud soldier. RIP Bernard
