We were very sad to see that Paddy had passed away, he was a real character, guaranted to entertain and liven up any company.

Very sad news to hear of Paddys death.
He was one of the first guys I ever met in the regiment, during the NI rear party
in 78/79, I remember him warning me about the deadly dangers of German beer !
(fat lot of good that warning did me !!)
Will be sadly missed, condolences to the family

Friday 18th October 2013 at 3:00pm
Oldham Crematorium, Roman Road, OL8 3LU
and afterwards at Streetbridge Inn, Roman Road, Oldham, OL8 3QH

Flowers may be offered or donations please to Help for Heroes, Guide Dogs for the Blind or the British Heart Foundation.

Thanks Dave,

It's good to learn that Paddy's send-off had a good turn out. Owing to an important task I couldn't make this one. I agree with you wholeheartedly though, support at these funerals can make a huge difference.
