Paddy O'Meara

Post by Bob_H » Mon Oct 07, 2013 7:48 pm

We've heard that Michael John (Paddy) O'Meara passed away this morning.

Paddy was at the Reunion in Blackpool this year where he had a great time. It comes as a shock, even though apparently suffering from cancer, to hear such sad news.

We offer our sincere condolences to the family.

Comes as a big shock. Paddy and I were good mates, shared a room in Paderborn and had many a good night out. Both he and Eileen were good friend to have. I will miss him.

I really enjoyed spending some time talking with Paddy at the reunion, it was great to see him again after a lot of years.

We served together several times over the years and I always enjoyed being in his company and with that lovely sense of humor of his there was seldom a quiet time when he was around.

R.I.P old friend you will be missed

My condolences to his family

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Had many a good laugh with Paddy over the years, as I'm sure many other ex hawks have had. Your wit and good humour will never be forgotten Paddy.

R.I.P. Paddy, missed by many I'm sure.
