Roy Naylor

Post by Bob_H » Thu Jan 10, 2013 8:22 pm

Shep has provided the sad news that his very good friend, Roy Naylor, has passed away after illness. note. We've had two soldiers of the same name so care is needed.

Roy hailed from Wigan and settled in Yately, near Sandhurst (where he once served) but was with the Regiment in Herford through to Hohne and Catterick. He was a Cpl with B Squadron in Herford but later spent time as Ration Storeman. With Shep he has attended a couple of our Reunions.

He leaves wife Nicki and daughters Andrea, Claire, Sonia and Lizzie. Nicki will provide funeral details early next week.

We offer our deepest sorrow and condolences.

Nicki has given Shep details of Roy's Funeral:

It is at 1245 hrs on Wednesday 30th January 2013 at Easthampstead Park Cemetery & Crematorium
South Road, Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 3DW
01344 420314 ‎ ·

If people put it into Google Maps it shows the Crematorium

Hi Guys, This indeed a sad day, I played bass guitar for Roy and Steve in Hohne, We did a couple of gigs at the regimental folk club run by the fantastic Ginge Mayall.
