Anyone got some money to give to a good cause??? Halifax RLFC could do with some to get the south stand at the Shay finished and get a couple more players, and you never know we might get the chance of a Super League franchise some season

Hank
We (Widnes Vikings) have the ground, fan base and money.

And we were still not good enough.

We would have stood more of a chance if we were on the Isle of Man.

Now then Mac, dont be like that,we did win challenge cup in 87 you know, thats our 66.

Dave, you'd stand more chance if Widnes were Welsh, thats the only reason Crusaders got the franchise, either that or Widnes just arnt good looking enough.

Take care.

Hank
They did ask me to pose with their team for the club photo to add a bit of glamour but I had to turn them down.

It'll be good to see you if we end up playing each other in play offs :)
We played Batley last week and just won by 2 points, we play the welsh today, we haven't beat them yet so here's hoping  it'll probably be down to the featherstone game where we end up fo the playoffs. Do you not agree though that now the franchises have already been decided that except for pride there is not much incentive to actually do owt as there is no promotion at the end of all this

Take care

hi Pinky, how you doin. We struggled against Papua New Guinea, and this scoreline suggests that we dont stand much chance of getting much further,it also suggests that the aussies could well be there again, bless 'em.

Take care

Hi Pinky
hows things? At least you had the option of turning off your TV. I was at the telstra dome for the game and not only had to watch a dismal performance by the team but also had to endure the constant taunts from the arrogant Aussy fans. What a nightmare. We won the post match singing tho hands down.
It was a great weekend though and a fantastic experience to be there.
