This is the place to support the 'reds', the 'blues', the Brits - or anything football related.

Would someone please explain to me how Bridges position in the England squad has now become untenable ??
Sounds pretty lame to me !!
His decision to retire from International footy, makes him sound like some Opera diva, or maybe he' s just trying to slide away knowing Cashley will be back in the side anyway as soon as he's fit !!
Then it's Trooper this, an Trooper that
And Trooper how's yer soul?
But it's "Hawks are bloody 'ero's"
When the tanks began to roll!

Mr jd Sir !
It's a bizzare type of loyalty, when you think that in any other
walk of life, everyone and i mean everyone, ('cept perhaps for his mum!)
would have shuned him and had nothing at all to do with him !
Then it's Trooper this, an Trooper that
And Trooper how's yer soul?
But it's "Hawks are bloody 'ero's"

How many chelsea players does it take to change a light bulb? Several actually. 1 to change the bulb, 1 to shag the bulb, 1 to pay off the old bulb, Abramovich to buy all the best bulbs and then stand there scratching his head as they don't seem to perform as well as they should, someone to pick up Drogba as he fell over the new bulb and someone to take a bulb to Dubai.

Nice to see John Terry end the season on such a high

His dad must be so proud
--------------------------
I hear John Terry's dad's been offered to be a guest on Whose Line Is It Anyway?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
John Terry lifts the cup'.

A bit like his mum with the shopping at sainsburys
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a shame that John Terry's dad isn't close friends with Lampard like his son is.
It's times like this that he could do with talking to Frank

JD
Scott Free

Without incurring payment; or escaping without punishment.

'Scot' is a Scandinavian word for tax or payment. It came to the UK as a form of redistributive taxation which was levied as early as the 13th century as a form of municipal poor relief. The term is a contraction of 'scot and lot'. Scot was the tax and lot, or allotment, was the share given to the poor.
