Anyone remember this? Our 'swimming pool' at Barker Barracks. Ronnie Evens, (A Sqn) on the right, cant remember the other two. Just found this in a load of stuff ready for throwing. Happy days. :D

Remember well, the unofficial contest (battle) to recover the (Riley ?) driven into the pool by one of the officers, and the fact that the lights stayed on for a while, whilst still under water.

Yes, the rumour was that they bundled a couple of the stag into it before they drove it in........ :shock: :shock:

Just out of interest, got the place up on Google Earth last night. The pool is now filled in, with a basketball court built over it. Maybe everyone goes down town to swim these days, at the open air pool?......(if that's still there).
