Phil, Might be a good idea to recreate that - I can already think of one topic that could go there :)

Phil's suggestion/reminder that some of our topics should be private to our Members struck a chord with me. For a trial period I've now brought the Regimental Chat Forum within that control.

What this means to you:

1) Guests visiting the Forum won't see Regimental Chat.
2) Not logged in Members won't see Regimental Chat.

If you are automatically logged in each time you visit (you can select that option when logging in) then this won't affect you but, if you don't see Regimental Chat on the Home Screen, it means that you need to log in.

Any problems please let us know.

Sounds like a good idea to me as much of what is said is of little interest to outsiders and our family squabbles can be kept more private. Also, when I log on I am always curious to note that 5, 10, and often 15 other people are 'online' but I'm usually the only bugger named.
The NSA won't have to log on as such because they get a copy of GCHQ's scans and they are logged in as Blogs F. & Co. I doubt that anything can be hidden from them, but many of the other freaks that have and will never have anything to do with us might find it harder to see our dirty washing through a microscope.
