Been having a conversation with Roly Greenwood and Frank Smith about Vic Woodall and I was under the impression that he had died. Can anybody confirm this.

Hi Algy

Vic worked at Manchester Airport after he left the Regiment with my brother Alan (and myself for a short while)

My Brother informed me sometime ago that Vic had sadly passed away

Regards Trev

Hi Algy.
I was down at the D&M school in Bovy from 98 to 2004, and my youngest daughter went to the Pre school kinder garden, which was situated in the wooden huts near to the stables just past the Tank Museum.

I think it was Christmas 2003/2004? that i saw Vic there and we had a long chat and caught up on things. He said he worked at Manchester airport and it was shift work so he would travel down when he was off to spend time with his daughter and grand children.

I never saw him again, but i did see his daughter who informed me he had passed away :(
all the best
jack
