Re: Les Kearton
Dave,
please also give my best wishes and regards to Les. I seem to remember doing some motorbike stupidities with him in Höhne. At one such stunt he was particularly good, while laying across the pillion seat and hanging on for dear life and at quite considerable speed, he would pick up matchboxes with his teeth. Of course the matchboxes were standing upright, that's about 2" from the ground so it wasn't all that hard for an apprentice headcase.
Ah, the good old days !
Get well soon Les, best regards Bill Bentley

Re: Les Kearton
Hi all just to let you know I have passed on all your good wishes and he thanks you all
Les still has a smile on his face although he has only been given 3 months.
If all goes ok this week he may be allowed to go home at the weekend.
Just to confirm Les is in Ward 11 bed 18.
If anyone is passing Preston Hospital try and drop in.
I will be going again this weekend and of course will pass on any messages to him.
many thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,
Could you pass on my regards to Les.
Les and me were part of the group that climbed Mount Kenya.
I also remember paddling down a couple of rivers with Les
He always knows how to push thing to the Max
