Well done Bob and a pat on the back to all the Hawks who use this great site.

Spread the word to other Hawks who are yet unaware of the site and perhaps we can reach the next half million in double quick time even quicker than Woods 27 getting marched to the cookhouse!

Best wishes to all

Mac

Bob ,
I can only echo what others have said already "Thanks for setting the site up " , after being pointed in the right direction by our old mate BILLY BUTCHER way back when I have found old mates from 30 odd years ago that had dropped out of site but have now been to a Noahs arc reunion. I'm looking forward tyo my next do and meetingt up with a few wayward mates from who knows whenbut the waffle will start again as if it never stopped so heres to the next 500,000 HUSSAR.

Is this the best website?
In my many travels with REME I have served with the Infantry, Artillery, Armoured, Ordnance, Base & Field Workshops and of course the Cavalry.
Most have websites, I am a member of many.
However one website stands head and shoulders above the rest - why - well it’s up-dated regularly, it’s easy to navigate, guests are welcome, the forum is nicely sub-divided and it is used by it’s members.
The last point is the important bit ‘it is used by it’s members’.
And as so many of you have pointed out Bob has done a fantastic job making this the best, not just of the Cavalry but of all the other sites out there.
So I take my hat off to Bob and wish all Hawks all the best for 2012.

Richard.

Great stuff, Bob! Great site; great regiment. As others have said, it's the hard work you put in that has made it this way.
