The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is a large aircraft museum, but also has a large Land Warfare museum included, with a large display of guns, wheeled vehicles and tanks, including the one in the photo ( which has been discussed in this forum before) which used to stand at the entrance to that part of the museum.

There is also a separate museum dedicated to the American Air Force, with many interesting planes.

The museum is just off the M11, about 60 miles north of London, and is well worth a visit, but allow a day to see all of it - there is so much to see, including a large interactive area for the grandchildren to learn painlessly about aircraft.

The sobering thought is that a lot of the vehicles in the museum are the same as I worked on in my army career!

If you are visiting East Anglia, a visit to the IWM is a must.

Hi Fellas

Probably was one of our Berlin Squadron Tanks, shame we could not have gotten the Registration number.

I have visited the museum but it was about 17 years ago and it is a good day out.

Cheers

Mac
