TO ALL MEMBERS

Post by Bob_H » Mon Oct 28, 2019 4:56 pm

Recently an Announcement was displayed here informing you of the cancellation of the 2020 Reunion, and a threat of removal of Noah's Arc funds. Following some intense exchanges between some of our 'Senior' members I am now of the opinion that the first statement can be replaced by this one. I thank everyone who posted replies and expressed their own view.

The end result is that we now know that Reunion 2020 will take place at The Imperial Hotel, Blackpool on 2-5th April.

We have also been made aware that room bookings are at a much lower level than they have been at this time of year in previous reunions. To such a degree that we 'may' incur monetary penalties and/or a reduction in the number of rooms available to us.

Every member of Noah's Arc who has not yet booked into the hotel are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Remember, you only need book in, payment isn't taken until just prior to the event.

There are still missing account monies to be investigated and reported upon. Any news on this will be passed on to you.

Our Reunions are unique in size for a military reunion and a place for friends to get together, have enjoyment, and share each others company and memories. Let's make 2020 yet another
Best Ever
Reunion.

A reminder: Booking a room at The Imperial provides you with free entry to our functions. If you are attending without a room in this hotel a ticket for attendance must be purchased in advance.

Thank you,

BobH

Hi Bob
I am horrified to read this after all the huge efforts by you and others have done over the years to make it so successful . ensuring old Hawks if they wished could meet up and share their memories of past regimental life and their wives.
Where did these rumors come from and I strongly feel we should name and shame them. If I can be of any assistance please contact me.

Hi Bob,

anything that we can do to save the site and all it does, we shall.

Our blessing that we have you at the helm, I am useless with computers. I do have other qualities though and if I find out which low life cretins are aiming to injure our site and our reputation, they shall be most sorry !

The ARC will sail on. There were many times I doubted that we would ever be called good people. We are here to help. Now and always.

See you all in April.

Hi Bob,
Having read all the Facebook threads in regards to what has happened I have to admit its been embarrassing that so many Hussars would disrespect each other in what were public pages for the world to read. I am so glad Michelle and I decided to give the 2020 reunion a miss.
The guilty persons will get whats coming. I just hope our family can get back on track and return to what its good at.
Very disappointed with many, very angry with a few.

Hi Bob
I copied your statement to Col Peter Garbutt at Home HQ Winchester he replied that he is going to look into where this all came from as far as he is concerned Home HQ will continue to support Noar's Arc for the foreseeable future .

Hi to All, I must have missed all the kerfuffle, I saw nothing of it. My wife who is the Facebook fanatic told me about it. Thankfully when I went on Facebook all the contentious stuff had been removed.
Hi Bill, your 'threat' sounded like Liam Neeson in the movie "TAKEN" when on the phone to his daughter's kidnappers, he uttered the now famous line, "I have a set of particular skills, I will find you! and I will kill you!". Good movie.
Spirits up everyone, except the Cretins who started all this.

Beggar, Arnie, you have blown my cover   .

Lucky for some, I have long since promised myself to eat what I kill and, other than biting my nails, I have no tendencies towards cannibalism. Though I can't speak for all of my friends ... so if the bad egg suddenly disappears
