Uploading Photos to Noah's Arc Forum

Post by Bob_H » Wed Nov 06, 2013 3:25 pm

We've had a problem where un-sized images have been distorting the way the Forum looks and I think this has been putting some people off. Which is a shame because we love to see them.

I've upgraded the software to now automatically resize images and simplified the process, here's what you do:

1) Click on New Topic or Post Reply

2) Click on Upload attachment

3) Click on Browse

4) Then locate the image on your computer and click 'Open'.

5) Click on the button 'Add the file'

6) That's it. When you've finished your message click on 'Submit'

When viewing these images within the Forum you can click on them to view them in their full size - then click on the photo again to return to normal.

Now, let's see some new photos, eh?

Thanks Bob, I think it was me posting large images. Did reduce the size a couple of times and meant to get back to it, but life is a bit hectic at present.

If I remember correctly, this feature was implemented in an earlier version of the BB, but then disappeared. Glad to have it back.
