The general feeling is that no matter what your current allegiance is within Noah's Arc we can only improve our situation with a fresh start - A new forward-looking Committee. I've been asked to oversee an election.
This notice is being placed in advance of the results of the current EGM (see other Announcement). Because of time constraints it will be used to form a Poll where our members can select an Executive Committee IF the EGM Motion is supported. It has no value if the EGM Motion is not supported.
MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT A NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR NOAH’S ARC. THE EXECUTIVE WILL BE MADE UP OF:
The prospective Chairman should provide names for each of these positions (3 names) and add a brief resume of your committee members and what you think you can bring to Noah’s Arc and your plans for the future.
Note: If only one Executive is nominated they will automatically assume control. That isn't the hoped for solution - far better that we have an election so that all members will have made their choice.
Once in control the new Executive will take over the contract and negotiations with hotels for our next and future reunions. They will take over the Account of Noah’s Arc. They will take ownership of the www.1420h.org.uk and the www.noahs-arc.org.uk websites, including all shop stock belonging to Noah’s Arc. They will have the option of adding new additional members to their committee. They will issue a documented Constitution for the club at the 2020 reunion for approval by the members.
Send your nominations by email to Bob Harrison email@example.com BEFORE the EGM Poll closes. The election Poll will begin on the following day.
Note: if you’d like to serve on the elected committee, but not as an Executive, you can contact the new committee Chairman once the results are announced.
