Thanks everyone, I can now relax knowing that I am probably not a closet racist just because my junior school had 'black boards'. It's a strange world today, if you go out and kill somebody you get off because your parents couldn't afford to buy you Wrangler jeans or because your shoes didn't fit. Just look at that wart in Florida, who shot 17 school mates, poor darling, I am still waiting for some human rights prick to tell everyone that he has been wrongly understood and so mistreated. Me , I can't understand why the taxpayers have to pay, easily a cool million, to put him through a trial and probably another million to keep him in nick for ten years and after a couple of appeals, spend another million to execute him anyway. There is and can be no doubt as to his guilt, so a 50 pence bullet is as much as he is worth. Now how many honest hard working people, who have become ill, could be helped with 3 million dollars ?

Dear King of Hussars,

whilst I wanted to press on with my own latest thread, I don't want to steal your thunder. What a smashing job you have done, for quite some time, promoting a local event in your own area, Leyland, well done !
And, just quickly looking back, also incited some lovely enjoyable banter. If I was anywhere in the Leyland area I would turn up and eat all your bacon butties. Waggie, when he was SQMS used to do a brilliant egg banjo and bacon buttie, soaked in HP brown sauce. On the coldest, wettest, most miserable day, on exercise, he and (then) Major John Smales used to get the lads laughing, even if it meant an affronted Tojo throwing raw eggs back at the OC. Our SSM of the day, Dave Tunniclife, looking the other way and letting us get on with being silly and having a great time. Smashing people, smashing times in spite of the seriousness of our mission. Bless 'em all !

What a day to choose to have a party: the 19th of October 2019 will go down in history as the day that made or broke BoJo. Seriously, we are living in momentous times and (if) the world as we know it is still around in a hundred years they will talk of this date, I hope, with gusto, telling of how Bojo freed us from the clutches of a power crazy dictatorship: the EU. Where an unelected minority tried to dictate to 28 - 1 countries .... FREEDOM and bacon butties for all !!!!!!
