Let's Get Back to 'Normal'

Post by Bob_H » Thu Oct 16, 2008 5:17 pm

This Forum can be a wonderful place - in fact, I'd go as far as to say "it IS a wonderful place". We have some great characters, some great memories and some very interesting topics.

Recently however it has become overfilled with topics about the Board itself, about somebody or other, and questions about 'why this/why that' and, quite frankly, we (the Mods and me) are getting fed up with having to keep 'guard' on the forum. We shouldn't have to do it - it shouldn't be necessary - we're all grown men (mostly). Can we please get back to normal and see some really good topics started that keep us both amused and interested and stop the aggro  .

Visit the site a lot, but don't post much.

Although i have a good chuckle at the guys having a go at each other, just like in the NAAFI or MESS, at times it seems to go a bit over the top, just like in the NAAFIor MESS.

But i still think its a good site. A home from home.

Totally agree.
Dinsdale, the difference between the site and the Naafi or Mess is that you have no fear of getting one in the cakehole while sat at your keyboard.

Just got back from a restful week in France and reading what I've missed, seems like I didn't miss much. Totally agree Bob and I've kicked off with a Perham Down topic Bob. Think you joined us at Perham Down, so maybe you can help my crappy memory.
