Help for Heroes

Did anyone see the Mail On Sunday article entitled '6am in the Basra desert...the snap that helped raise £50m for heroes'. It revealed the origin of the H4H logo which shows a soldier giving the thumbs up sign as he is carried on a stretcher. Both of the stretcher bearers are from the Kings Royal Hu...

Re: Reunion Numbers

I joined C Sqd LAD in April 1958 from 31 Arms Workshops Rottenberg. Then HQ Sqd in Hohne as Jack Fettis's driver until the Regiment went to Libya. I was then posted back to Celle with the 4th Tanks. The rest is history.

See you all in Blackpool.

Re: "OLD" HAWKS

Retirement is great, at 73 I am as fit as a fiddle, due to bowling nearly every day, indoor and out, marking competitions and as a county umpire, umpiring county games. Also swimming once a week and walking everywhere. As yet I have no spare parts ie. knees, hips, heart monitors. Pam and I and the d...

Re: Pam's midnight walk for local hospice

Hi Dave and Diane, Haven't really done much training as such, trouble getting daughters and grand-daughter together. It's them I'm worried about not me. We've just received our pink t shirts so are more bothered about customizing them just now! We couldn't try them on so ordered sizes too big and ar...

Re: Message From Joanna Lumley

We have just sent message to our MP Tim Loughton. He doesn't accept cut and paste messages so others may be the same. Just write a short message in your own words and keep to the point!

Get your wives online men!

Can I ask any of you men whose wives may not have been told about the wives club chat room, to show them and encourage them to type a message every so often. Hilda and I seem to be the only regulars sending messages and it would be great to hear from others. Thanks. Pam.
