Re: Rugby league

Don't feel sorry for Hull KR, they had all season to avoid the drop, Salford had Marwan and a points deduction to contend with as well ! Good luck to Salford for next season.
I support Widnes and whoever is playing Wigan.

Re: BELIZE 2 (FART) 25 YEAR REUNION 2011

Hello Boss,
When I saw your name it was like a blast from the past.
Nice to hear from a member of the Air Squadron, we do not get many mentions on these forums and when I saw the name of the Boss himself it cheered me up greatly.

Re: Help required....

I knew Ernie initially from playing squadron and regimental rugby with him. Later in 1970 he was my troop sergeant in C Squadron when we went to N. Ireland. Chris Tottman was the full screw and I was the troop lance jack. One morning we were returning from a night patrol in our ferrets when Ernies f...

Re: Sgt.Stuart DuRose

Stuart Durose, now there's a name from the past. Last time I saw him he was with Air Sqn at Netheravon and had a habit of carrying an inflatable rubber ring everywhere he went. Said it made sitting down more comfortable for some reason or other !

Re: Rugby league

Today is another bad day for Widnes Vikings, 36-0 against Hull KR.
Next week we play Wigan, I expect the points against to be more than the crowd attendance. I'll be there though, always game for a laugh.
Can someone show Denis Betts the exit door please!

Re: Rugby league

Salford seem to playing well and improving each game. Like watching the halfbacks and now they have Phil Vievers as coach I think they do okay. Their downfall at the moment is the poor crowds they are getting and with it the lack of income to improve the team for next season. Widnes on the other han...

Remember Stan as being a fella who was always smiling, except when you were playing football against him, then Stan was serious. Good lad, one who will always be remembered.

THANK YOU.

Just to say a great big thank you to you all for wishing me a speedy recovery from my recent stay in hospital. I must admit that when I came out all I wanted to do was sleep and I couldn't be bothered to read, but now things are back to normal. Reading your well wishes has given me a great big boost...
