Tonight was band rehearsal and I asked our MD if he would allow the band to play abide with me ( the FA official hymn) I am so proud to say that the band I know play with performed this hymn beautifully in memory of Steve.

I have no idea how I held it together

Steve will be missed by many, he fought his illness bravely and never gave up. His glass was always half full and not half empty. have posted about this before but make no applogies for doing so again, the son of a good friend of mine walked 90 miles from Catterick to Lostock hall to raise much needed funds for the Royal British Legion. Ryan Cartwright is 16 years old, he planned the walk and on Saturday completed this charity...
