Does anybody know whether the Noah's Arc shop still sells the 14/20H umbrella, as mine has mysteriously disappeared?

Re: The King's Royal Hussars Newsletter

I noticed in the obituaries that Mick Holland had passed away? If I am not mistaken it was Robin Holland and not Mick that passed. Am I correct?

Re: Mick Herbert and Joe Cotton shooting

Hi Les, These photographs are great and bring back many memories. However, as far as my memory goes yourself and Mick Herbert were stationed at Newcastle, Co Down police station, with my troop. You were both the SHQ Operators which supported us. When you and Mick went on R & R myself and Mr Bowes-Ly...

Re: Junior Leaders - Officers

Hi Bill, Bill Williams was the Regimental Secretary before JC. Yes, I was commissioned and left the Regiment (KRH) in 1994 as a Major (QM T). In early 94 I was made 2IC of the Regiment for a short time, because the 2IC of the Regiment had to take over one of the Sqns training for NI (the orginal Sqn...

Re: Junior Leaders - Officers

I was a Junior Tradesman and did my basic training at JTR Troon, Ayrshire, Scotland (64/65) before joining the Regiment in Benghazi. Phil, Tony Wagstaff was commissioned, he was in the Officers Mess in Munster.

Trev, If you download the programme 'TORRENT' on your computer (it's free) you can download anything you want, wherever you are in the world. I have downloaded lots of movies and series, both UK and US, even the latest stuff, for years. I have all the episodes of 'The Mill', but haven't watched them...

Re: Brand New Clothing Range

Thanks Trev,

Once I saw what rugby did to your face I stayed well away. Oh and by the way, the Wythenshawe police still have an open file/case on you regarding the disappearance of my car outside your house, never to be seen again, just like your chest of drawers!! Al.

Re: Paderborn

It was Tom Griffiths - we were going to his 21st in Blackpool. I remember about 10 of us slept in a 2/3 person caravan, and had to pawn my Omega watch to buy beers! Yes, Stu Rundle was the other guy. I remember in 1990/1 when we were in Saudi waiting, I had to attend a Brigade conference. After the ...

Hi Terry, hope you and your family are all well. Do you remember the bike trip we did from Paderborn to Blackpool? I remember there was you, me, ? Griffiths, and some others, but age has affected the old grey cells. Can you name any of them?

Re: Harold Percival

Hi Geoff, It's nice to hear from you and I hope you are well and in good health. I have just read your post about Mick Herbert, and I think time has muddled up the facts. Mick Herbert was stationed at Newcastle, County Down with my troop. He and Les Davey were our SHQ Operators in the police station...
