I joined juniors with Les in 1976 along with Killer Dewhurst, Stu Duxbury and Paddy Malloy, Les made the dizzy heights of Junior Lance Jack, the only one of the 14/20th contingent to make it. He was a good bloke and always had a smile and a usually bad joke to keep morale up. A very sad loss our sin...

Paul I was SHQ (3C dozer tank) so we did sleep on the decks :D we had a reputation for oversleeping and it was still a bit chilly, Paul B Dick only went for a tour he will be long back now. Paul are you still at Bordon I heard VT where bought out by Babcocks.

Hi everybody and thank you again for all the kind comments, far kinder than I deserve. I've been busy emailing Australia most of the weekend to try and catch up but 20yrs is a lot of catching up. As those who know me will testify I do not like being in the limelight (unless beer or Port is involved)...

Thanks for all the kind comments and most of all to the old Hawk who rang me to let me know. I'm still shell shocked but its great. You must be getting old Trev I always thought the only thing that would move you would have tracks :D Thanks again.

For those that are interested the regiment was on my sons birth certificate, we are back in touch and I'm a granddad :D
Thank you Noah's Arc. I'll now keep my personal life personal but I'll try to keep posting on here.

Long time no see, I'm sat like a kid at xmas waiting for my lad to get back to me I PM'd him but its sat in my outbox, don't know why. Then I spotted the email button. Fingers crossed. How are you doing? I still think back to the PO wing it was one of the best times I had.
