Hi Les,

I think the photos were taken on the 1972 Tour looks like a lot of 2nd Troop A Sqn, Nobby, Ali, You, Cabbage, Smudge Smith, Scouse Winstanley, Ginge Patterson also I think Ron Flowers were all 2nd Troop at some stage but I cannot remember going to Maghrafelt on that tour. I thought we were there on the 74 tour.

Cheers

Mac

2nd picture between Smiler and Nobby is Billy Brookes, he was in Jack Kelly's 6th troop with me till it was disbanded to reinforce other troops when the ceasefire broke in July 72.

Pic3 - Dave Winstanley, Les Davey, Jacko Jackson, Solly Moulton, Broom ?

I don't recall being in Magherafelt with any troop, so I rather suspect it may have been 74. I left the Regiment in spring 73.
