Seems a lifetime ago since we first met on that B1 radio cadre in Benghazi. A lot of water under the bridge since then and many happy memories. All the best mate to you and your family. God Bless.

God bless you and your family, sir. You were a true gentleman and a wonderful RSM to have served under. You could not have done more for me when it mattered, and you were always there for everyone. Hussar!, sir.

Really not sure what to say! I am so sorry and saddened to hear this news. Always found you to be someone to follow as an example of what a Hawk and Hussar should be and admired you greatly when you became the Quartermaster. I hope your remaining days are what you what them to be and I truly hope we can have a pint or whiskey at the reunion in May 2015. If there is anything I can do for you please ask, I will truly be there as I am sure many others will be also. Be safe my friend and enjoy your remaining days as best you can. Thank you for everything you did for me in the past!

All ways honest and open, I had the privilege to be your driver Whilst serving in Hone. I enjoyed your company and the chats we used to have together. You gave me a fantastic insight into how an RSM of the 14/20 Kings Hussars goes about his duties.

Thanks for sharing your time, it ment a great deal to me

Having read all the tributes and good words that have been said all I can add were the words of advice you gave me on 3 Occasions whilst I served were amongst the best I ever Received.
I wish I could come up with some of my own
Just enjoy your remaining days with your special I think Dragon is the word you would use and share the love of your family
Hope to see you in Blackpool

Not news any of us would want to hear, but worse still for yourself and family. No good saying enjoy yourself, but I hope you still have some happy and memorable times to come. See you at the Imperial next year.

Take care.

What a shock, having known you since JLR I have always thought you were invincible. You have always managed to smile in the face of adversity and from your message above you seem to have taken the same stance with this latest news.
May God bless you with the strength to enjoy the life that you have left, and may God also give Denny and your family a similar dose of that strength that you have demonstrated through out your life in all that you have done and achieved.
