Noahs Arc Flags/ 14/20 KH

Postby lawrie salkeld » Sat Nov 05, 2011 7:52 pm

I propose that wee try a wee experiment with the flags.
Having seem Bulldog cart around a wee paper man for his grand children, so they could see him in far of places,
I thought that may be we could do the same with the flag. If you go away on holidays, days oot ect.
Maybe a bottle of plonk for the winner, who will be judged by the committee.

I can only imagine the locations that this mottley crew will put it (photo evidence required).

How many can wee get at the Olympics.
Anyway this is just a thought lets see where we can take it.

PS Bill no need to pay me for the ad. (only Kidding ) :D :D :D :D :D

PUT ON THIS THREAD AS ITS WELL READ. NOT JUST THAT I DONT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE IT.
It is not just the oxen, that pulls the cart up the hill. But the birds that build there nests in the trees.

Just thought i'd mention it !!
Then it's Trooper this, an Trooper that
And Trooper how's yer soul?

Dear all,

Meeks advised me of and guided to this entry ... thanks Lawrie for initiating the idea. Not wanting to be bolshy but I have also started an identical entry under the title: Your own 14/20H Flag in Regimental Chat, because not everybody looks in on the Soccer site !

I know, shame on him, them etc. !

As a kid I was in school with Keith and Peter Barnes and through their father, Ken, we used to visit Denis Law. I also used to deliver milk to Georgie Best who often was just coming home with some scrumptious tart when we were delivering down his street ... he rarely had time for a chat ! Even so I only ever went to two football stadiums: Main Road - Man City - where my elder brother was attempting to get into City's youth team - but didn't get selected and, under considerable pressure from a dear friend, I once went to watch Man United play ... I think it was in and against Portsmouth. Never really understood the game myself and I could never kick a ball in a straight line anyway ... so I probably won't look in here again !

What I would ask of you all is that you post any pictures of your flags also under 'Your own 14/20H Flag' - Regimental Chat so that we infidels can also enjoy your antics.

All the very best and thanks for your support ... Bill
