F.I.F.A.

Postby lawrie salkeld » Sat Nov 05, 2011 7:39 pm

No poppys for our England football team next week as FIFA would consider it to be a strip change BOLLOCK.

I have tickets to the under 21 match in Colchester eng v spain next thursday. i will be taking a slack handful of poppies to give to them " We WILL Remember Them "

Mr Baldwin sir !
May i remind you that i was residing in Plymouth for five years !
Now they really do have an "ooo 'arr" accent and they practice interbreeding !
"'ere, meet my whyfe !" " She's also my sister !!!"
And in Mr Meakins defence, they do get more easier to understand with less translating required, the further north up the M5 you go !!
Then it's Trooper this, an Trooper that

And Trooper how's yer soul?

But it's "Hawks are bloody 'ero's"

Mr Baldwin sir !
Did i ever !
Strange place to live, strange people, you begin to understand, after a short time there,
why Devon and Cornwall is the heartland and home of the liberal democrats !
all looney lefties and fiercely PC !
Then it's Trooper this, an Trooper that

And Trooper how's yer soul?

But it's "Hawks are bloody 'ero's"

enough of this media driven bollocks,

FIFA have their rules in place for a reason, they have not said you can,t remember, they have actually sanctioned a minutes silence, what is to stop the FA from handing every player a massive poppy wreath to place in the middle of the pitch prior to a minutes silence, would that not have the same impact, if not more, and you wonder why England never got the world cup, the poppy is a symbol for the whole of the UK forces that have fought over 2 world wars and up to todays conflict not just England, in addition to that it is a personal thing, if you want to wear one you do, there are no rules, i actually have a few and every time i go shopping i put a quid in, but that is my choice.

i have been listening to Alan Brazil on talksport sprouting of all morning about this, but i dont recall him ever saying anything or walking of the pitch at Celtic Park when the fans start singing about killing or murdering British soldiers, or did he conveniently forget about them.
