Damion, The only attendee at Medicina that I can imagine gave a silver rank badge would be Brian Draper (sadly he passed away shortly after returning from Italy). Two ex-Band came, Paul Wigmore & Don Bateman (both trumpeters). I'll do what I can to find out, it's an interesting comment, thanks.

I agree Brian, the message could be far more sympathetic.

However, here's a copy of the notice I received from JC about Major Pemberton. It seems it's been this way for a while and that Shep is right.

This will be on Friday 19th June at 2pm. The service will be at Gloucester Crematorium - Coney Hill Road, Gloucester GL4 4PA and the wake at the Whitminster Inn, Bristol Road, Whitminster, Gloucestershire, GL2 7NY
