Re: Major Andrew (Pembo) Pemberton

He was Sqn leader in Northern Ireland in 1974 when John Tyson got killed, he showed the wisdom of Solomon in dealing with a sticky situation concerning myself, John Cornish and others, I will always be eternally grateful for his actions. Even though a little eccentric, I rate him one of the best.

Re: Peter Harding

I've met a few gentlemen and a few rogues in the Regiment, but I can say without exemption Peter was the epitome of a nice man.

Re: MANCHESTER city

"It is incongruous to attempt to draw a parallel between the two disasters, given that the cause of Heysel was hooliganism. However, if there was one common denominator, it concerned the inadequate crowd arrangements." - Alan Hansen As you know prior to Heysel, hooliganism was called the E...

Re: MANCHESTER city

I won't make any other comment only to say that the truth will out and hopefully the police you seem to back, be they South Yorkshire or West Midlands will be shown to be a lying bunch of shits I think they are.

Re: MANCHESTER city

I take umbrage to your remark "Always the victims, never your fault !!" There was 96 victims and it wasn't their fault.

Been having a conversation with Roly Greenwood and Frank Smith about Vic Woodall and I was under the impression that he had died. Can anybody confirm this.

Re: Scotlands devolution

I live in Spain, here is a copy of a letter to the editor in the Costa Blanca News: The Scottish resident here (or in any European country) should be aware of the change in their status if Scotland becomes independent.
