Malcolm Hay (REME)

I'm saddened to announce that Malcolm passed away on the 1st March 2016. Many will remember Malcolm who was 'B' Squadron's AQMS in Paderborn. Malcolm retired as a Captain and supported Noah's ARC for many years. My condolences to his family.

Re: Mr Brian (Drac) Draper

Brian was one of those characters who stood out above the rest. 14th/20th through and through. He'd been there, seen it, and done it. Always smiling, fair minded, and open to suggestion. What more can you ask. He really will be missed by all those who knew him. My condolences to Denny and her family.

Re: The Future of Home Headquarters (North)

An unenviable job for the General. To be honest, it doesn’t really matter where Home Headquarters is located, we are only an email away – being 14/20KH, it just sticks in the throat that it’s Winchester as a matter of principle – to be expected I suppose when most of the powers that be live/serve in...

Re: Colonel Dan de Beaujeu

A very sad loss. He was a fine officer, an exceptional C.O., and a gentleman to boot. He served the Regiment well and will be remembered for his name (which only a few could spell correctly) and his fairness and understanding. My condolences to his wife and son.

Re: Worrying !

There are a few Yeomanry Regts with a similar tie to ours, including the Queen's Royal Yeomanry of which HRH Prince Charles is Royal Hon Colonel. I also believe that the Royal Yeomanry's tie was the same (not any more).

Re: James (Ben) Cartwright

I remember Ben from Benghazi and Paderborn when he was in MT. Good man with a 'Cavalry' sense of humour. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My respects and condolences to his family.
