Re: Danny Tomlin

Rest in Peace old friend. I have fond memories of the time together.
I will miss the laughter and banter we all had at the reunions - it will never be the same.
I could say a great deal more about Danny as a great light has gone out.
We send our condolences to Jackie and family.

Re: Ian Leeming

We spoke to Tina last week as hoped Ian would be well enough to attend the SW Reunion and heard he was in the hospice for a few days and due home then. Glad I spoke to Tina as whenever we speak to Ian he says he is fine!! He's certainly a fighter as was Drac, bless him. So sad but he'll be well look...

Re: Mr Brian (Drac) Draper

The lasting memory we will have of Drac was how brave and proud he was carrying the Medicina flag at the Cemetery and carrying it round the town of Medicina. It was a great moment for him and a great memory for us. Denny was so brave too and we really felt for her. We send our sympathy and love to D...

Re: REUNION 2015

Pam and I send our apologies for not attending this year's reunion as it is our youngest daughter's 50th do. It will be the only reunion we will have missed since the second one at Jim Thomas's pub! We both hope you all will have a great weekend.

Re: Harry Bennett

No Quassie it wasn't us. I was playing bowls this afternoon and I'd have to be dragged kicking and screaming to go to London! All the best anyway mate.

Re: Regimental Reunion 2014

Full marks to Bob and the Committee for the best ever reunion and the best attended! The Regimental Band were fantastic and the whole weekend was great. Those who didn't attend don't know what they missed, so Pam and I will see you all next year for another 'best ever' reunion!! Thanks again for all...

Weather your way

Just hoping you will all be safe in the very bad weather and storms expected in North West and Wales any time now. Just very wet and strong winds here but luckily we have escaped the extremes in our area. Feeling so sad and helpless for all the folk in the west country and now along the Thames. best...

Re: Storm Warning

Strong winds and rain overnight but just few branches and trees down and the odd fence down but nothing affecting us much in Worthing.
Terrible for the families of people killed though and all those homes without power in other parts of the country.

Re: Storm Warning

Very very windy here all day today. Walked along Worthing seafront this afternoon, it was quite a struggle but felt safer against the wind than behind you! Waves were great to watch though. Rain now and calmer but as they say "calm before the storm". We're all prepared with candles and cam...

Re: Robin Holland

We've all been expecting it to happen but we still can't believe Robin has gone. We remember him in his football kit at the Noah's Arc Reunion when his beloved Reading went up into the Premier League. He was jumping up and down with his arms in the air and a broad smile across his face! That is the ...

Re: Message From Robin Holland

I've served most of my army career with the Holland Brothers but am closest to Robin having served with him in A Sqn. I'll never forget the reunion when Reading were promoted and Robin came running in with his Reading shirt on, have the photo somewhere! Sorry they've been relegated now but they will...
