Re: The Future of Home Headquarters (North)

Why oh Why this North South Divide, in all my 13 years service was there ever any division, we Londoners/ Southerners were treated as equals, and we were all very Proud to be Called Hawks. The present situation is all about running costs, and it makes sence for the HHQ TO BE AS NEAR "THE REGIME...

Re: Censorship

Political Correctness. I am told we can address persons by Nationality, Brits, Irish, Scots, Ashian etc etc, but we must refer the colour of their skin as White or Black? As a kid we saw people as white,Black, Brown, even Yellow, was that so wrong. Confused 80 year old.!

Re: Thomas Weddell

If its the same Thomas, think he was a big mate of Roy Baxter, Regimental Barber in Crookham, think his motive was to keep most of his Hair, RSM Parnaby insisted he gave everyone, short back and sides. RIP Thomas. A Faithful Hussar.x

Re: Welcome Singe Powell

Did "Chico" also work for the "Dobie Wallah" ? Do you also remember the NAAFFI Manager, think his name was Mufood, the story was he was a Libian International footballer, a great guy, he coached the Band football team, who that year won the Darcy Cup, beating the LAD In the final?
