Footnote: An amazing revelation came out when Michael Mcgowan recalled that when he was 14 years of age he met Max in a Manchester Royal Signals Army Cadet unit. Wow!

The saddest of news to hear of the passing of our club Patron.

A commander who will be remembered fondly by many.

Re: Where has everybody gone

My feelings about the Forum versus Facebook debate are unwavering. Forum Topics are ordered, searchable, permanent. Facebook Quick and easy, jumbled, short-lived. Unfortunately 'quick & easy' is the favoured option and it is sad to witness this Forums decline; a forum which still gets 400 visito...

Re: Hawk badge

One of the things I look for is the way that the orb is held.

With KRH it is grasped like it's trying to squeeze an orange.

With our own 1420H the orb rests gently in the palm.

Paul,

This one (based in Leicester) appears (from the photographs) to be in better condition than the one you have:

Happy Medicina Day

Today marks the 71st anniversary of Medicina

It's 12 months since we joined the Regiment, 6GR and Mayor Onelio Rambaldi and the people of Medicina in celebrating the 70th Anniversary. Here's wishing a happy anniversary to all Hawk's, 6GR and to Medicina.

Re: Phil Baldwin

Although I knew he wasn't well, this has still come as a great shock. He will be sorely missed. RIP old fri...
