Re: Welcome to 2018

Bill

I sent John your message about email. I also tried to phone him using the Facebook phone facility he hung up. So either I have upset him or he has cut me off, his loss.

Re: Welcome to 2018

Bill Her name is Lisa. I have never met her probably no fault of hers. I don't think he likes his sisters, when I meet them they never speak about him. I will pass on your message, but that will probably mean I will not be in touch again. He never liked my girl friends or mates, so he will no doubt ...

Re: Welcome to 2018

Hi Bill I think you are getting the reunions mixed up. The one I am talking about was started by the lads a number of years ago. It is held in Blackpool about the end of april every year. About 3 to 4 hundred turn up last year. It starts on a Thursday and the final night is Saturday. Everybody stays...

Re: Welcome to 2018

Bill What can I say. As our John would say Prep, Prep, Prep. But you could cuff it and let your minds decide as you go. You have a decent amount of time to plan where you want to go. You could visit the south of france and see those famous horses. How about down to Gib for the winter then up to the ...

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Hi Bill

Searched, the internet for the items read them and came to the same conclusion you did. The reports said that when info was requested the papers refused to give a reply

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Well Bill

You amaze me. I have heard nothing about the new airport, the airlines going bust or the High Speed trains and I tend to watch the news.

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Hi Bill I agree she did a good one on this deal. But the one who has to be watched is Barnier? the EU opposite to Davies. By going for a soft border as you said Customs at all landing points. Maybe the hatchet mob will now let her get on with it. I do not like Gove ambition but would not make a good...

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Nato was good until the European Army was suggested, It would not work if each countries had to work under another countries rules. Will some body tell Blair to keep...

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Hi Bill

We seemed to have got at a stage where we could start Trade Talks. Then what comes Hard Borders in Ireland. Just listened to the news and it seems that Teresa has 3 days to sort it out.

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Christ Bill What a childhood you had, but you must have some sort of a strong person( somewhat similar to andy mcnab.) But you have come through it I would say stronger. I would think that about 66% of the young lads who join up have had a bad start which the army changed. Brexit on the news says th...

Re: Kipling, Europe and Brexit

Arnie The customs points are not the problem, there are so many unofficial crossings that it is impossible to man them all. Whilst I was over there we took an Heli to patrol the area around silverbridge only to see men herding their pigs across the border into another truck. So even the customs who ...
